I may not be a vegetarian, but ...

On my way home from church today, I was picking up some hamburger meat to grill. I could have stopped by Harris Teeter or Food Lion, but I chose to go the healthy route. I shopped at Whole Foods. I feel much better about myself as a person knowing that although I am not a vegetarian, the cow I am eating tonight was a vegetarian.

You got that right. I will consume the meat of a cow who lived his life being "fed strictly a vegetarian diet"! Now the butcher at Whole Foods didn't find the irony of this fact nearly as funny as I did. I will sleep well tonight knowing that I am a healthier person and the world is a better place. I didn't fall prey to eating one of those carnivorous cows.
